dinneR ★ Posted June 16, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 16, 2019 Crazy expensive for a fork.
ChrisL Posted June 17, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 17, 2019 I saw some reviews on it, the testers seem to like it. That’s the one designed by Dave Weagle right?

Looks awesome, but $2k is out of my reach. My Rocky Mountain was $2k.
ChrisL Posted June 17, 2019 Share #4 Posted June 17, 2019 What does a high end fork from Fox or RS go for though? I think less but as they dial in the production I’m sure the fork will come down some. I like that there are options for suspension forks like the Lauff and this one. Downhill forks can approach $1800. The high end Fox 36 is about a grand I think. Trust doesn't give numbers for travel that I could find, but they say it replaces 110-140 mm forks. My Yari fork is 160mm. Options are good especially since the Trust is rethinking design completely. And Weagle seems to be a suspension genius. I have not ridden a Lauf. It's kind of crazy looking. I'm curious to see what Trust does with bike design or if it will be Weagle's split pivot design.
ChrisL Posted June 18, 2019 Share #6 Posted June 18, 2019 I didn’t have a chance to read/watch the review but PinkBike had a long term review of the fork. I plan to read & watch the review later today.
Razors Edge ★ Posted June 18, 2019 Share #7 Posted June 18, 2019 I think in @Dirtyhip's "Let's Play a Game" thread, some of those forks I looked through to answer her question were over a grand and that was years ago. It's pretty nutso, but like a good wheelset, probably not irrational if you have the cash.
Dirtyhip Posted June 18, 2019 Share #8 Posted June 18, 2019 Looks strange. As long as it works and it isn't too heavy. Whatever. When I was a fox certificate for any fork of my choice, we chose the 36 and I believe that fork was 1300 retail. That was in 2015
