dinneR ★ Posted June 17, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 17, 2019 Saturday, you can catch a ride up the pass. Usually people hitch, shuttle, or pedal up. It's about 6 miles on the path and 8 or more on the dirt. I took the shuttle once, it was pretty sweet.
Razors Edge ★ Posted June 18, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 18, 2019 Looks fun, but why aren't the shuttles always running? Or just usually cost too much? Is it through the resort or whatever that controls/maintains the trails? Looks like 16 bikes on there, so is it pulled behind a bus?
dinneR ★ Posted June 18, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted June 18, 2019 It is generally up to the riders to find a way up. Pedal, hitch, or shuttle. A lot of people wait with their thumb out. Same with skiers in the winter. It is Forest Service land not a resort. The trails are maintained professionally with private donations. The trailer is pulled behind a truck. They are doing this to raise money for the trails. They ask for donations. You can demo bikes as well.

Sounds like a high school kid with a trailer and a van could make quite a few bucks running a shuttle on weekends????

Probably. Driving the pass is not an easy task though especially with a trailer.
