Some of my buddies can't work, can't get out into the fields. Almost had to take the canoe down my street the other day. At least I am fixing the kids my famous chicken carbonara tonight. Darn Millennials and their soft constitutions But I will say the rain FORECASTS have been total BS lately up here. Lots of fake weather going on, with stuff getting cancelled, postponed, or changed for weather that never actually materializes. It was weather like this year, rain after rain followed by more rain. It was a two hour race and almost the entire course was under water. I had just replaced my top end before the race and the bike was running great. I had a great race until my engine gave out with a half hour to go. I walked my bike back to my truck and loaded up. I drank a beer and started to leave. A race official came running over to my truck and told me not to leave. He said I was still in first place overall. He said there was only one rider with any chance to beat me. One minute before the race was over he rolled through the checkpoint to take the win.
