Wilbur ★ Posted June 21, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 21, 2019 I am thinking amphibious aircraft to shuttle the rich and famous directly to their places in the Lake District in Italy and Milan. Just summers of course, winters would be island hopping in Greece. Who is in?
Airehead Posted June 21, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 21, 2019 I do but not exactly like this. A pet Courier Airline--- part people with their dogs, part in cabin flights for dogs.

JerrySTL ★ Posted June 21, 2019 Share #6 Posted June 21, 2019 Wilber have you heard of the BBC Radio 4 series Cabin Pressure? It's a hilarious comedy about a small airline (one aircraft). It stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Roger Allam. You'd love it. I bought the entire series on CD from Australia a few years ago. It may be more readily available now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabin_Pressure_(radio_series)

MickinMD ★ Posted June 21, 2019 Share #8 Posted June 21, 2019 If I was going to do work around the Mediterranean, it would be as a tour guide. When I toured Israel in 1999, our guide told me, "You know enough you could be a tour guide here. You buy your own bus with a toilet and 25 people capacity, you join an umbrella group like Unitours, and you make US$100,000 for six month's work. I have a house in Tell Aviv and another one where I stay the six months I don't work in Eilat on the Red Sea."
JerrySTL ★ Posted June 21, 2019 Share #9 Posted June 21, 2019 I just checked and "Cabin Pressure: A-Z: The BBC Radio 4 Airline Sitcom Audio CD – Audiobook, CD, Unabridged" is available from Amazon for about half the price I paid for it.
Dottleshead ★ Posted June 21, 2019 Share #10 Posted June 21, 2019 Would that airline offer a low income housing project? Of course, it'd have to be kept in the cargo area.
