Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted June 12, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 12, 2014 Does anyone know why there have been no releases of the bands that played at Watkins Glen in 1973? I can't find anything on the web other than there was a show featuring The Grateful Dead, The Band and The Allman Brothers. The show concluded with an extended jam of Johnny B Goode with musicians from each of the bands. I'd like to hear some of those tracks/licks. I figured at least the Dead would have released some of the tracks.

Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted June 12, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted June 12, 2014 Thanks for that. The Allman Brothers released one track from that concert (on Check the Oil..) as did the Dead (in a five-disc box set). I want to hear the encore jam. Someday.
