Gump Posted June 18, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 18, 2014 It said " tornado warning, take shelter now!" Only problem is I didn't see it til this morning. We had a pretty good storm roll through last night but no Nader.

Gump Posted June 19, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted June 19, 2014 No, it's pretty unusual for us to have tornados. There have been a few here in the last 10 years but not very common.
kingtermite Posted June 19, 2014 Share #4 Posted June 19, 2014 That's good. I'm from Florida and they were not uncommon. If there was a warning, you took action. We had one come through our neighborhood and destroy almost every house there when I was a kid. Ours was one of the only places that wasn't hit. LoneWolf Posted June 19, 2014 Share #6 Posted June 19, 2014 We had serious storms go through today. 45mph winds with 60mph gusts. Some locations reported penny-sized hail. It rained St. Bernards and Maine Coons; we got two and a half inches of rain in a very short time today. The clouds looked like they were moving in time-lapse before the storm hit. The grass is definitely looking green, and I'm sure our maple trees needed it.
