Nate Posted June 20, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 20, 2014 Six Flags over Texas made sense when I was a kid Texas had been under six different flags by the 1970s: Spain, France, Mexico, Republic of Texas, Confederate States of America and the US. But now there's "Six Flags" parks everywhere what do you tell you kids when you take them to the Six Flags in New Jersey? ...or do you not question anything and just hand them your money and eat your hot dog and STFU? Chopped Liver Posted June 20, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 20, 2014 I'm too busy trying not to get mugged at the one here in the ATL to worry about counting the freaking flags.
Nate Posted June 20, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted June 20, 2014 Georgia only was under three flags that one in Atlanta should be "Three Flags Over Georgia" You've had your heritage co-opted by a Texas Rollercoaster Baron. Its like selling your state's history for twenty bucks and some change
