petitepedal ★ Posted August 31, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 31, 2019 Some are subtle but some are a tad more obvious.
team scooter Posted August 31, 2019 Share #2 Posted August 31, 2019 We noticed it down here too. Mrs will be going to Florida, so me and the Mags will be meeting some friends in northern Wisconsin/Upper Michigan the last weekend of September for our every few years waterfall/fall color hiking weekend. Maybe we'll have better luck with the fall colors this year.

Guest Posted September 1, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 1, 2019 Red maples start changing mid-August. Now you can see others starting to turn dull green so won’t be long now.
Allen ★ Posted September 1, 2019 Share #7 Posted September 1, 2019 Even in Georgia it smells of fall already.
Dottleshead ★ Posted September 1, 2019 Share #8 Posted September 1, 2019 We had a wind blast come through and the leaves started to scatter. But for the first time -- even though it is quite warm out -- it had that slight chill and smell in the air. It was unmistakably Fall. Old Man Winter lurks.
smudge ★ Posted September 1, 2019 Share #9 Posted September 1, 2019 Sadly, leaves are starting to change here too. Makes me have mixed emotions about the cooler temps. I don't like the upper 70's and well into the 80 degree temps we had for a couple months, so I should really enjoy these nights of upper 40's and days of low 70's to 60's; but the leaves beginning to change color tells me Old Man Winter is well on his way. I like winter just as much as the next guy; but, Jesus, the past 2 or 3 have been brutal. And way too long even for the UP. sigh...

groupw Posted September 1, 2019 Share #11 Posted September 1, 2019 No! You're about 4 weeks ahead of us on the autumn front. I to take a road trip To CO and SD to see some family and friends while the leaves are turning. I need a little more time, though!
