Nope, I has it I placed said cough drop in my mouth and then felt two pieces I then thought....tooth I didn't chomp on it, but it would of broken soon anyway if not then. It was both fascinating and noisy as hell. I didn't watch this time, but I did last time for couple of minutes. Didn't seem all that loud to me, perhaps more insulation? IDK.
