groupw Posted September 8, 2019 Share #4 Posted September 8, 2019 76@18.9. Annual ride to Scratchtoberfest. Light tailwind most of the way. Occasional sprinkles and light showers. I have not done a lot of longer rides this year and it showed! My legs were running out of steam about the same time we got to the hills!
ChrisL Posted September 8, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 8, 2019 24 on the Anthem. I had to ride to the trail head and did a 10 mile dirt loop and ride home. Oh and another example of why motorists hate roadies. I was crossing a road where a MUP intersects it. It’s a T intersection with the MUP continuing at the top of the T. As I’m crossing there are numerous cars stopped at the light. As I’m approaching the other side a F’ing pack of roadies blows the light and nearly takes me out. Two guys toppled over avoiding me, the group stops in the middle of the intersection and as the group is sorting themselves out I stopped and told them, THIS is why motorists hate us. You all fucking suck. Uh sorry sir... Yes you are sorry, red light means stop... Once again I have seen the enemy and it is us... 1

JerrySTL ★ Posted September 8, 2019 Share #7 Posted September 8, 2019 35 miles on the gravel bike because I'm a slacker. WoJSTL and our 2 daughters did half marathons. One daughter did a trail run half. The other did an additional 7 miles to meet her marathon training goal of 20 miles.
