maddmaxx ★ Posted September 11, 2019 Share #9 Posted September 11, 2019 I would suspect that the air conditioning might just be able to mitigate the convection oven that is a clear globe in bright sunlight. 2

Seriously I was going to mow the lawn but didn't have any gas, and the tank was just about empty. So I started on something else, heard the mower start & knew Jason was mowing the lawn, I thought he'd get about half the front done & run out. So he rolls the mower into the garage, lawn all mowed, I asked where he got gas, he pointed at the kerosene can. The mower didn't run great but it did run on about 80% kerosene 1 1

You think if she was using 110 racing fuel she would cut the grass faster.
Wilbur ★ Posted September 11, 2019 Share #18 Posted September 11, 2019 We used to sell 110 octane pretty cheap to race car guys at the airport.

Here if I buy it at the track it costs $10 a gallon before the oil is added. Afteroil it more like 11 or 12 dollars a gallon.
maddmaxx ★ Posted September 11, 2019 Share #20 Posted September 11, 2019 So you guys haven't had to buy nitromethane yet??? $16gal and up but the kicker is that you need about 15 gallons per run.

Down here, that thing would have to be fusion powered to keep up with the heat load.
12string Posted September 11, 2019 Share #24 Posted September 11, 2019 The explanations are a lot easier if you understand that it's a heated lawnmower, not air-conditioned
