bikeman564™ Posted September 12, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2019 @Dirtyhip Take a trip to the SE mitten. A local park created this. Short story long, Hines Drive is a 17 mile curvy hilly road that is actually a county park, @Digital_photog knows it. My club rides it on Sunday for our coffee ride. Anywho last Sunday I noticed this...may have to try the fatty on it
Digital_photog ★ Posted September 12, 2019 Share #2 Posted September 12, 2019 I have never seen that pump track but have ridden Hines Drive several times. Not too bad for a city ride.

Not too bad for a city ride. It's brand new. Might not be officially open yet. There are mtn bike trails which have been there awhile, but they're in the woods. As you know, there is a lot of land along that road, so its a good idea to use it for stuff like this.

Parr8hed Posted September 12, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 12, 2019 Would not recommend rolling a fatty and then trying something like that.

Dirtyhip Posted September 12, 2019 Share #7 Posted September 12, 2019 Do you know who the contractor was. Not Velo. It doesn't look like a Velo track. Looks decent though. If you take the fatty, drop the seat as far as it will go down. Ideally, you want a dirt jump bike or a bmx. The fat tires are cumbersome in the corners. Looks decent. Not sure. The Motor City Mountain Bike Association is involved. And they are integral w/ the county in developing stuff like this.
