Neat.  I think my commuter - a slightly younger bike than his - would also do fine if prepped with new rubber and some TLC.  Maybe a similar tweak to see if braking could be improved.

Love that old Suntour stuff. My old Stumpjumper had Suntour XC pro. I think I still have the shifters and brakes in a box.

Nice bike. Pretty cool you are still riding it.
