Why do people ask pilots for information in airports?

That isn't our area of expertise.  I don't know where your flight departs, Moran.  Look at an information board or ask a gate agent.  Preferably one that works for the airline your stupid arse is scheduled to fly on.

My micro rant for the day.

I guess they think you know everything about the airlines.

It's like when you're out of state and someone asks, "I have a friend named Jim Smith who lives in your state. Do you know him?"

The same with colleges.  I split two games with a Chicagoan in this year's Team Maryland vs Team Illinois Chess Match and we were both Illinois Institute of Technology grads and were students there at the same time in the 70's. We had different majors and never knew other.
