Google and Tom said to unplug it and hold the power button for 20 seconds, and lo and behold, it worked! Whew! I read about there being battery drivers that can be updated, but it’s a work computer, so I can’t download any updates myself. The IT guys instead insisted it was my battery at fault, and replaced it. Now my laptop doesn’t recognize there is a battery in, at all. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
