Wilbur ★ Posted October 19, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 19, 2019 My Iraqi barbers have gone all upscale with big tv's, new uniforms, new hot towel machines and a shot of tequila and espresso while you wait. Talk about getting your $15 dollars worth! 2 1 1

Talk about getting your $15 dollars worth! I think dearie's barber is Iranian in Vancouver.... does the hot towel stuff, etc. But dearie pays.....$30.00. He has a beard which needs to be looked after properly... especially when he is bald (but not totally). I consider $48.00 for wash and cut for myself darn cheap...as a woman. It freaks me out how expensive it can be for a woman...without the hair colouring.
Dottleshead ★ Posted October 19, 2019 Share #3 Posted October 19, 2019 Those boys really know their business. How the hell can they afford to do it?

I a guessing volume. In the past 4 years, they have gone from 3 chairs to 12. It is also a cash only business.
Scrapr ★ Posted October 19, 2019 Share #5 Posted October 19, 2019 I got a haircut yesterday. New shop to me in Bend. They had a bar set up but didn't offer any up. They wanted $60 for a haircut & straight razor shave. Esp for me with a #1 all over. So I just did a cut. Took about 20 minutes. $25 + $5 tip Tip because she asked me about Lindy & I started crying
Road Runner Posted October 19, 2019 Share #6 Posted October 19, 2019 I never knew pigs needed haircuts. I guess if a rabbit got a trim, it would be a hare-cut. 1

If they do a good job, $15. It takes about 30 minutes because they shave parts in etc. Lots of straight razor clean up and they do eyebrows as well.

Probably 5-6 on duty during the day. Maybe 8 from 5-9.
