The Expanse, Nemesis Games, chapter 14, where Naomi & Phillip are chatting before she gets the ship.

Oh, and at 1.25X speed b/c I have listened to it previously.

I think that’s a weird thing to listen to. But having not tried it, I’m probably missing out.

Today, sports talk, Bills vs Browns on Sunday.

However yesterday on the commute home, when I was about 8 minutes from home they started playing Freebird in honor of Lynyrd Skynyrd's final concert.

I turned it up.

Final chords just as I was turning onto my street.

Classic rock and some blues mix on the HDD. Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, BB King, SRV, and Joe Satriani.

Freebird has staying power. I can’t believe there are people who don’t like it. That would have turned into a driveway concert for me even though I’ve heard it a brazillion times.

I am thinking about going to audio books for commuting too.

How annoying is it when you arrive and you're in the middle of a chapter?  Is it easy to pick up the plot where you left off?

Me too. Nothing but my footsteps walking on the carpet and my pup running ahead getting excited for a walk.

Not a problem. Audiobooks do make the time fly by.

Today I started with Samantha Fish on Google play radio.

Later I will probably switch over to Drive By Truckers or Joe Bonamassa.

I don't find it too bad. Sometimes I'll rewind it 30 second to collect my thoughts.

I sat in the truck for about a minute this AM to get to the end of the chapter.

It's funny, I can't listen to books unless I'm driving.

I don’t go to work but whenever I drive the car plays all the music on my phone on shuffle. You never know what you are going to get but it’s all stuff I like.

I’ll typically always do the 30 second reply when I restart even if I’m at the beginning of a chapter.

And yes I’ve sat in the parking lot for a couple minutes to finish a chapter.

I also listen in bed falling asleep.  I use the 30 minute timer - unless I forget...

I heard Gordon Lightfoot on the radio before I left for work so the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald is in my head.

Bob and Tom. They always seem to have a good show on Fridays.
I listen to news on NPR in the afternoon. During the rest of the day I shuffle music from my phone.
