sheep_herder ★ Posted November 9, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 9, 2019 How, exactly does the traction on demand work? How does one activate/retract the spikes?

How does one activate/retract the spikes? I guess we will find out if we go to check it out. I did see s women's pair (totally different design) with flip over part underside that had cleats. It was made in Europe somewhere. I saw the pair..not surprisingly in a store in Banff town, Banff National Park last month. The organization that did the testing....Toronto Rehabilitation Centre....a hospital for those with cardio problems, rehab after injury, falls, University Health Network...is a major multi-hospital facility in downtown Toronto with strength in various areas of medicine, and ….Ontario Ministry of Labour...of course their interest is occupational health and safety. http://www.ratemytreads.com/about/ I wonder if I resesrched in PubMed database and find a more scientific test results. They simplified their ratings for layperson on this company store chain's web site.

I’m concerned about getting my wife up and down a wheelchair ramp this winter. Those boots don’t come big enough for me.
