sheep_herder ★ Posted November 13, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 13, 2019 Think how much nicer your commute will be tomorrow. We may venture out and about tomorrow, but we've stayed close to home during the cold and snowy weather.
Further Posted November 13, 2019 Share #3 Posted November 13, 2019 We have about an inch on the grass, but the roads are icing up and there have been a lot of wrecks
sheep_herder ★ Posted November 13, 2019 Share #4 Posted November 13, 2019 Highway patrol was very busy when the storm first hit. Most of the accidents were further west in Billings and beyond. They were dealing with ice and black ice.
Longjohn ★ Posted November 13, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 13, 2019 We had two pileups of more than fifty cars each on I-80 today. They closed the interstate for one of them until they could get it sorted out. The one just beyond the Mercer exit looked nasty but only two serious injuries. The first responders were having a tough time working in white out conditions. The one over the state line in Ohio had 75 vehicles involved. The state police were asking people if they were involved they were supposed to call them to report it. Ohio sucks in that regard. Their road crews do a horrible job of keeping the roads clear, then if you slide off the road because of it they write you a ticket for “failure to control your vehicle”.

team scooter Posted November 13, 2019 Share #9 Posted November 13, 2019 A few more inches forecasted for tonight on top of the five we got a few days ago. And its too cold to melt until maybe this weekend. This is late December/January weather.
