12string Posted November 14, 2019 Share #42 Posted November 14, 2019 canned green beans are AWFUL We started growing a different bean 2 years ago. Can't remember the name. Longer, more slender, much tastier. Don't boil or steam, pan sear them in Olive oil with whatever you want to add (French Tarragon and sesame is great), keep them a little bit crunchy. MickinMD ★ Posted November 16, 2019 Share #47 Posted November 16, 2019 An easy one-pot and delicious meal: boneless ham or turkey ham cut into bite-sized pieces, potatoes cut into bite sized pieces, and frozen or canned or fresh cut green beans. Boil the ham and potatoes in a pot until they're close to done, then add the green beans - preventing them from overcooking. Plate them in a big bowl with lots of butter! This is a dish that is definitely not as good without the green beans!
