Probably best to get it over and done with as soon as possible.  It can take a while to get back to 100% after an injury to the core.

I didn’t realize that a sports hernia differed significantly from regular hernias. The “hernia” name is only used because the pain is in the same location.

Why do so many sports games involve a ball?

Baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, croquet, golf, field hockey, basketball, tennis, bowling, cornhole, dodgeball, rollerball, polo, waterpolo, etc, etc, ad nauseam....

We need sports that use square objects with sharp points on them.

Isn't cornhole played with beanbags?

Nascars are kind of square.

Nascar is conducting their well mannered championship race this weekend.  There will be practice and qualifying and associated races on this evening.  Probably pretty milqtoast compared to helmet swinging though.

Those guys swing helmets all the time.  They use them to put extra dents in cars driven by people that tried to run them into the wall.

No one gets season ending suspensions for swinging helmets in NASCAR.  Those guys are real men (and that one women... wait, she gone).

Jousting, curling, throwing the caber, all winter olympic sports, track and field, wrestling, bicycle racing.............and so many more that one loses count.
