Popular Post shotgun Posted November 17, 2019 Popular Post Share #1 Posted November 17, 2019 Maddie wasn’t eating well and was spending more time on our laps than normal. She started drooling and wouldn’t let us look in her mouth. I took her to our normal animal hospital on Friday. The vet didn’t see anything wrong in her mouth but her temperature and bloodwork indicated an infection. They sent us home with oral antibiotics. She was worse Saturday morning and no matter what we tried, we couldn’t get a dose in her. The on-call vet agreed to meet us at his office and he spent an hour and a half with us. He had to sedate her and lance a large abscess in the back of her mouth. She got an antibiotic injection that will last for two weeks, and subcutaneous fluids. He reversed the sedation and sent us home. She is 90% back to normal this morning! 5

The_Karen_Cooper_Incident Posted November 17, 2019 Share #4 Posted November 17, 2019 Yea, Tom the cat loves eating up my checkbook when his butt hole stops working. But now after having him on soft pate cat food, he has been pooping better. I'm glad to hear your pup is doing better. Mudkipz

shotgun Posted November 17, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted November 17, 2019 The doc that treated her yesterday just called to check on her condition! Yeah, a Sunday morning follow-up call from a vet we've only seen two times.
