Western Conference Central Division is where all the cool teams play.

There’s about 5000 people at each Buffalo game who are from Canada, either cause they can’t get Toronto tix or don’t want to pay the Toronto prices. They’ll be cheering for the Predators. Naomi Posted December 9, 2019 Share #56 Posted December 9, 2019 There was only one series I cheered against the Sabres. That was in the evil days of working for the owner of the Sens. I got spit at and a beer thrown on us at a game.
MickinMD ★ Posted December 10, 2019 Share #57 Posted December 10, 2019 Mine went out of existence. They were a minor league team called the Baltimore Clippers that drew larger crowds to the Baltimore Civic Center in the 60's and 70's than the old NBA Baltimore Bullets. During one non-sellout NBA playoff game, someone ask Bullet Wes Unseld what the Bullets needed to do to draw bigger crowds, He answered, "Announce it as a Clippers game." The teams' owners paid players to get in fights in those days and the games were pretty exciting. I won a Baltimore Clippers hockey stick as a door prize in 1968 and still own it. The Clippers were in a minor league, the American Hockey League, where some of the teams left to join a league that attempted to be a 2nd major league that competed with the NHL. Eventually, some of those teams became NHL teams and that league folded but there were now too few teams in the American Hockey League and it and the Clippers folded. From time to time a minor league team, the Baltimore Skipjacks, exists and plays in a league: the family that owns the Clippers name won't let anyone use it, which is a shame - it would help build support. Win you Baltimore Clippers. Win you Clippers from Baltimore. Fight you Baltimore Clippers. Face off fight for a Baltimore score. Defensemen, Forewards, and Goalies, will win without a doubt. For Baltimore, and Maryland, every Clippers fan will shout: Fight! Fight! Fight! Win you Baltimore Clippers. Win you Clippers from Baltimore. Fight you Baltimore Clippers, and score, score, score! Surely the games are televised locally. I went to Skipjacks games when I was in college. I enjoyed them. I think at the time they were the AHL team of the Capitals. That happens at the Wings games too. It is a rowdy crowd when the Leafs are in town. Since the Wings suck so bad they don't draw too many fans. For the Leafs though, it is a chance to see the Leaf for cheap with the side benefit of a nice get away in Detroit. I think it is about a 60-40 Wing to Leaf fan split.
