Do you take your shoes off on flights?

How long of a flight? Over 5 hours, maybe.

Yep. For US flights, it is generally a untie and loosen the laces sort of thing.  For longer international stuff, it is the untie, loosen, and remove where I can then just slip them on each time I get up.

Luckily, my feet don't smell, but I think RG is wise & kind to keep his shoes on.

We often fly cross country and I usually do.  I’m weird though in that I don’t take them off until we are well in the air, in the event I have to haul ass due to an aborted take off. I then put my shoes in before landing in the event I have to haul ass due to an issue in landing.  If something happens mid flight I’m screwed & will die with my shoes off
