You should eat some with pineapple, but not spiralized.  Ham steak it, that is the way.

Some people like thinly cut ham? We have “chip-chopped” deli ham here, claimed to make it “hammier, tastier”. I can’t vouch for that, but that is the marketing. Maybe spiral cut is similar.

Spiral is fairly thick.

I like spiral sliced ham.  I also like ham steaks.  They are very easy to cut up into cubes for things like Jambalaya.  Take note DH.  I'm not such a lazy ass that I buy pre cut ham cubes.

We just buy the different cuts and carve out what we want with our chef knife.  We have one in the refrigerator now that we are carving from for steaks, sandwiches, etc.  Sometimes we warm it on the stove, sometimes in the microwave, and sometimes eat it cold.  Nice to buy one every once in a while when they are on sale. We've never had a spiral ham, but we've never had to serve more than the two of us.

Real on the bone ham is far superior to the boneless ham-like meat was. The spiral cutting does make it easier to serve.
