Square Wheels Posted July 2, 2014 Share #8 Posted July 2, 2014 Didn't you just buy a bike like that, or two bikes like that?
Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted July 2, 2014 Share #9 Posted July 2, 2014 If you buy that I'd suggest you ask the shop for a real seat. Otherwise they're putting the swindle on you.
Dirtyhip Posted July 2, 2014 Author Share #10 Posted July 2, 2014 How many bikes do you have? How many do you need? We have a lot of them. The calculation of bikes you need is always N + 1 If you buy that I'd suggest you ask the shop for a real seat. Otherwise they're putting the swindle on you. Seat? You don't sit on that seat. You stand and pedal this bitch.
Square Wheels Posted July 2, 2014 Share #11 Posted July 2, 2014 I don't subscribe to n+1. I think 1 is enough for me. Riding in the dirt would be far too much work.
Dirtyhip Posted July 2, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted July 2, 2014 I don't subscribe to n+1. I think 1 is enough for me. Riding in the dirt would be far too much work. I don't really need a road bike. Only silly kniggits ride that kind of bike. I should have a P8 style garage sale. Ummm, NOT!
Square Wheels Posted July 2, 2014 Share #13 Posted July 2, 2014 I didn't mean to imply road was better. For me it's too much work to get to a trail, ride, clean up, go home, clean the bike... I can go on my bike and ride from my driveway and go many miles.

I can go on my bike and ride from my driveway and go many miles. No worries. I was definitely implying that MTB is far superior. I can ride from my house to trail in about 10 minutes. I can ride everywhere in this town. Traffic here is like 20 cars at a light.
