Gingerbread house time

If I swing by there I’ll post it but there was a ginger bread house contest within one of our department.  Most were really well done.

One however cracked me up as it had 2 walls up and numerous sheets of square gingerbread stacked up to the side of it.  Next to that were some small Tonka construction vehicles and a sign “Construction Zone”.

Some ideas for creativity. you could go bananas:

All part of an annual gingerbread landscape contest in Vancouver....  you don't need to do fondant like some of these cool creations. Maybe the lifesaver candy can be rubber tire tubbing down a snowy hill or water raft for a pool of water.

You should make a gingerbread pump track.

Not sure how I could make dough swoopy like that.  My brain exploded when I tried to imaine how to do this.  Cookie dough like flat surfaces.

Maybe mold it when it is hot?  I imagine this turning my day into a stress ball.
