Does one feel a heart pacemaker inside?

That information is based on people I know having pacemaker/defibrillators installed.  A pacemaker by itself may be a bit smaller.

Yes, this.  Last person I knew with one, it was quite visible and he did feel it act when he had arrhythmia.  It was not a defib, just a pacemaker.  I guess when things get out of sync, you can feel it.

The gentleman sitting next to me at work had a combo with defib.  It went off at work twice.  I think the pacemaker part was to get his heart back to normal after that.  He said it was like getting kicked and then you realized what just happened and it was like getting kicked harder.  He did live both times though.
