Road Runner Posted December 29, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2019 It used to be a great rivalry game each year. Now it is just a contest to see who is the most inept. Redskins win that contest and will continue to do so until the idiot Snyder goes away. Latest rumors are that Urban Meyer will be named as the new coach ASAP.
MickinMD ★ Posted December 29, 2019 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2019 IF the Eagles lose, a Cowboys' win puts them in the playoffs, so the game has some meaning. The scheduling people have moved the game times to 4:25 pm for both the Ravens (vs Steelers) on CBS and Redskins on Fox games at 4:25 pm, so I don't get to watch both games on local TV unless I push the "Last Channel" button on my remote during commercials. The big news in Baltimore today is that the Ravens have signed All Pro CB Marcus Peters to a 3 year contract - they have almost all starters signed through 2021. At least those two games may be competitive and interesting. The Steelers are favored by 2 by Las Vegas. The #1-seed-clinched Ravens are playing backups vs the many-injuries Steelers, but the QB's are Robert Griffin III for the Ravens - who has played several fourth quarters this year with other backups in blowouts, yet is a fine 23/33 passing with 1 TD and 1 INT. The Ravens are starting Gus Edwards at RB. The Steelers have undrafted, poor-performing Duck Hodges at QB and Benny Snell at RB. I like the Ravens at home! The Ravens receivers are better. At 1 pm, on local Baltimore & Washington TV stations we've got the Dolphins at Patriots (CBS) and Packers at Lions (Fox). Ho hum. It's hard to be interested with fantasy football season ending last week. At 8:20 pm, the Seahawks host the 49'ers in what could be an excellent game with playoff bye implications. I think it's going to be a big 49er's win: Seattle's top RB's are out and they've brought Marshawn Lynch out of retirement and he's only been in training a couple weeks. Russell Wilson QB SEA hasn't looked good lately with so-so receivers and no running game.
jsharr ★ Posted December 29, 2019 Share #3 Posted December 29, 2019 Jerry Jones is the anti christ. The Cowboys will win today due to the dark powers Jerry possesses. Jason Garrett will be sacriiced on the alter of pride to the god Hubris using a razor sharp star. He will let out one last clap as his head rolls onto the star at mid field. The next head coach will be another high paid low power toadie. He will not clap, but he will have a similar mannerism to deal with the failure that is sure to ensue

The Harbaugh brothers are pretty good coaches.
