MoseySusan ★ Posted December 30, 2019 Share #1 Posted December 30, 2019 I upgraded to an iPhone 11 yesterday from a 6s, so I’m running iOS 13, which has difficulty pairing with the Garmin Connect app. I’ve been through every troubleshooting list without success. Have you figured it out? I have a call in to Support, but I’m on an hour long waiting list and won’t hear from them for awhile.

I'm on a 6s with iOS 13.3, so maybe I'll fire up my old Garmin to see if it has issues connecting. I think I was on an earlier version of 13 when I was still using it and had no issues with it and my 520, Google turned up other folks with the same issues? *** I got my Wahoo on 9/18 and iOS 13 came out on 9/19. Even figuring a week or two before starting to use the Wahoo instead of the Garmin, doubt I ever ran 13.x with my Garmin.

Yes, and the Garmin Support website has a red-flagged troubleshooting list that is supposed to address the issue. There are a lot of “fix” videos, but I’m not going there. Waiting for Garmin support to call me back.

I used the computer to remove it from my garmin account and then used the phone to pair it back up.

I could lose all the data, but I’m past caring.

But the info is surely all up in the Garmin Connect app as well?

I could lose all the data, but I’m past caring. If you just remove the device the data should remain. At one time in the past I resorted to closing the account, lost all the data, started a new account and started over again. That was while I was working out that Garmin Connect on an android really doesn't like having more than one device enabled or even listed. This may have nothing to do with your Iphone problem however.
MoseySusan ★ Posted December 30, 2019 Author Share #14 Posted December 30, 2019 Connected! Totally a user error. I didn't scroll far enough to find the Pair Phone command on my device. I stopped at Waiting for Phone. 1
groupw Posted December 31, 2019 Share #15 Posted December 31, 2019 I just saw this. My 735xt will say it is connected, but won’t sync. Found it happens if I power off the Garmin but leave the app running. I disconnect the Bluetooth on the Garmin. Stop and re-start the app then reconnect the Bluetooth. So far that takes care of mine.
