Parsnip Totin Jack ★ Posted January 4, 2020 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2020 This morning the question is: where did flavored coffees originate? “Hell” was not the correct answer. I got a chuckle but no $.10 discount. Middle East is the correct answer. 1

late Posted January 4, 2020 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2020 Prob when people started putting liqueur in their coffee? It sounds like something they would have come up with in gay Paree...
donkpow Posted January 4, 2020 Share #4 Posted January 4, 2020 Yes, I've known this for a long time. The original flavor additive was camel dung. Then came dried fish heads and after that the flood gates were opened.

MickinMD ★ Posted January 5, 2020 Share #7 Posted January 5, 2020 I drank coffee in the Middle East in Egypt, Israel, Palestine, and Turkey. The Muslim-country version is generally a small cup that's incredibly strong. If I knew they had flavors, I'd have asked for vanilla or something else to lessen the bitterness. dinneR ★ Posted January 5, 2020 Share #8 Posted January 5, 2020 Coffee from the Mocha, Yemen is known for it's chocolate flavor. Not sweet. Here we had chocolate syrup to coffee and call it a cafe mocha.
