The gravity of the situation

In the first level, she's talking to an adorable kid, who is smart, and if you watch nothing else, that is nifty. The second level isn't hard. The third level is college level, and I mostly understood it. Working up the courage to try the 4th level.

I got most of it. I actually thought the convo with the “expert” was more generic than the ones with the college students. My understanding of quantum mechanics is limited. 
 
So if we visualize gravity as a field, does that mean we could construct some kind of a dipole device that we could harness the differential field-energy between the poles to power our space ship?
