Packaging, cost, and control over ingredient quality.

It's about the sourdough discard.  I feel guilty just throwing something so delicious away. When it is cold outside, I spend most of Saturday in the kitchen anyway, so it's not a big deal.

How do homemade saltines taste?  I have tomato soup, but no crackers.

I do have some multigrain sourdough that would make bangin' grilled cheese sandwiches, though, so there is that.
