Way back, there was a local White Castle in my area. In the 2000's, there used to be a White Castle on Route 1 (the ORIGINAL National Pike) between Baltimore and Washington but it closed. We stopped there a couple times, after we visited an excellent garden nursery near it, for their sliders (mini burgers) but they weren't enough of a big deal to otherwise drive 1/2 hour out of our way to get them.
