Popular Post Airehead Posted January 26, 2020 Author Popular Post Share #6 Posted January 26, 2020 Well, saved at the last minute. I found a small stash of syrup and made a blueberry syrup to supplement. Mr. Aire is as cranky as a bear with a sore ass today so hopefully this will help. He is NOT a good patient. Fever down to 100 but he still feels like crap. I had forgotten the cranky part after the plane crash- guess I was just glad he was still alive. Today, I hope he falls back to sleep soon. He thinks he should be working on a dry wall repair that Paulie created the need for. ReAlly man, how about you wait until the fever goes away. 1 4 1
Popular Post Longjohn Posted January 26, 2020 Popular Post Share #7 Posted January 26, 2020 My Amish neighbor still had their maple syrup sign out the last time I was past. They usually take their sign down sometime in the fall when they run out. I prefer local raw honey with a sprinkle of cinnamon. That’s what I made for Esther on Thursday. Today Nana is having homemade nanna bread that some sweet forumite made for her. Mmmmmm good. 2 2

Has he been drinking Mexican beer with limes in it? A telltale sign.
Popular Post petitepedal Posted January 26, 2020 Popular Post Share #9 Posted January 26, 2020 @Airehead...I suggest you get a weighted blanked for these occasions...one that comes in at about 150 pounds....it will provide you comfort and keep him in bed!

Kirby Posted January 26, 2020 Share #11 Posted January 26, 2020 Oh thank heavens! In this ever changing world I still want there to be some constants! And as to the dry wall repair, just remember what a wise judge once said. 1

smudge Posted January 26, 2020 Share #15 Posted January 26, 2020 I like real maple syrup. Fortunately many people make it in the Yoop, so it's always available somewhere. Hmm, maybe I should make a bunch of blueberry waffles and freeze them. Would be fun to munch on them as I am panking my trail at camp knowing I picked those berries in the same area I am panking! (Of course I would thaw and warm the waffles before heading out to pank and munch!)

Speaking of Mr. Aire, how is the househusband thing working out? Is he going to make that permanent?

I have been known to take homemade blueberry waffles out of the freezer as I head out early morning to go kayaking or to a cycling event. I end up chomping on them on the drive while they are still partially frozen. They are not bad that way.
