I know a lot of useless trivia, but my brian works way too slow these days.  If you gave me all the answers to study the night before, I might be able to just barely compete.  In certain male-centric categories only, of course.  :D

Why do you hate Shakespeare, poetry, and operas?  :D

But siriusly, do it!  As a jeopardite, you owe it to yourself.  And it was actually fun.  And even better, not as hard as I was expecting, ie I knew a majority of the answers, at least AFAIK. :)

(I only remembered one to check later.  I gave an eyetalian composer as the Arthur of a French play.  Thankfully they say there is no penalty for dumb answers. :D )

Edit- no wait, he WAS an opera composer  The only one I know, of course  :D

I have long thought that Jeopardy is way too focused on categories regarding musty old literature and plays.

If they asked questions about 1960's cars or 1970's stereo equipment, I would kill!!!

There are never any 'Brady Bunch' or 'Leave it to Beaver' questions.  I'd clean up if they focused on real, usable knowledge instead of Shakespeare, poetry and opera.
