Thaddeus Kosciuszko Posted July 8, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 8, 2014 In an apparent safety measure to reduce crashes, several teams had equipped their riders with vuvuzelas to warn other riders when they were getting too close. Fearing the other teams obtained an unfair advantage, today ALL the teams furnished their riders with vuvuzelas. While the number of crashes was greatly reduced, one spectator lost an eye when a rider flung his vuvuzela away during a climb. Reports abounded of walls of historic buildings and castles crashing down as the peloton passed. Mysteriously, in several towns huge numbers of seemingly hypnotized rats and nearly all the children began chasing the peloton as it left the towns. The ensuing chaos prompted an official ban on all vuvuzelas in the Tour until international standards could be agreed upon for length, weight, color, and decibels for future vuvuzelas. jsharr ★ Posted July 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted July 8, 2014 Can you research if there is any correlation between cowbell ringing and rider drooling? Will drool buckets be employed by any of the teams?
