maddmaxx Posted February 6, 2020 Share #2 Posted February 6, 2020 Spartacus was the first time I saw Douglas in the movies back in 1960. For me he was one of the Hollywood greats who was around for most of my lifetime. edit: I was wrong, the first time I saw him in a movie was 20,000 leagues under the sea in 1954. I don't recall the first. I always liked him as an actor though.
Ralphie Posted February 6, 2020 Share #4 Posted February 6, 2020 I think I am too young to remember seeing him in anything atoll.
MickinMD Posted February 6, 2020 Share #5 Posted February 6, 2020 I've always admired Kirk Douglas - he was Spartacus! when I was a kid. I'm glad he had a very long life and was able to enjoy life after his stroke.
