I'm getting sick of it. You know it's bad when we Western Washington folk are clamouring to get out.

Flooding has to suck. I’ll take the snow and cold.

I can move snow and in the spring it goes away. What do you do with flood water?

We're gonna have an inch or more of rain today/tonight/tomorrow AM (that's be a foot or more snow).  By tomorrow afternoon, I can be back riding on the clear (and rain cleaned) roads.  Sure, flash flooding or unexpected floods suck, but it is super rare versus a snowstorm and very contained in where it can happen.  In fact, when it floods near us, we go watch it, since it is contained in the river valley, and Great Falls Park overlooks it. Pretty awesome.

Well it saturates the soil then finds its rain buddies and together they flood down the mountain destroying everything in it's path -- on it's way to the sea while leveling houses and causing big landslides.

What's not to like?
