Speedy response from lawyer

At work, I had to review/work on something for a lawyer.  We needed their expertise.  Was amazed she was so speedy in her responses via email. It felt unnatural.....vs. a month ago, with another lawyer on a different matter.  Haven't heard back and probably need to review in detail with the other lawyer what we needed. (I'm almost dreading another runaround, another time lapse.)

She must be young.  She will catch on to hourly billing and slow down.

I used to work for a law office.  Part of my job was working opposition on complaints, because the attorney was constantly not calling people back.

She returned recently from maternity leave. 

I think for our dept., Law dept. doesn't bill to our dept.  (working in govn't is abit different. But there is internal billing by some depts..:  GIS, metrics dashboard creation, information technology)
