It will be deliciously horribly bad in a very WWE fake body slam off the top rope, strippers as cheerleaders, coaches driving monster trucks sort of way.

I'm just happy to see that you haven't made up your mind about the new league.  Keeping an open mind is a good thing.

Can you smell what jsharr is cooking?  I hope that Bob Stoops has one of his players drop the People's Eyebrow on you and then crushes your car with the team monster truck.

Supposedly there's a free (?) Foxs Sports Super 6 prize game for the XFL season. I'll post the link on this thread if I find it by tomorrow.

I may watch some XFL on local TV:

2 pm: ABC 2, Baltimore: Seattle Dragons at D.C. Defenders

and

6 pm: Fox 5, D.C. or Fox 45 Baltimore: L.A. Wildcats at Houston Roughnecks

The Fox Sports Super Six game is the same downloadable app as before, but if you downloaded it during the NFL season, you need to update it.  Otherwise, download it from Google Play or the Apple Store for free and play for free.

You have to pick a range of winning margins for each of the 4 games, "$10,000, $2,000 guaranteed"

Considering fewer will be playing than during the NFL Season, there are 4 multiple choice questions instead of 6, and the possible answers are fewer, there's a significant chance of winning!

The Las Vegas odds are here: https://mybookie.ag/sportsbook/xfl/ where a negative number means that team is expected to win by that much and a positive number means that team is expected to lose by that much.

A "best bets" column that picks two of the "dogs"- expected losers - to win and explains why is here: https://www.vegasinsider.com/nfl/story.cfm/story/2002100

It looks like it is filled with players not good enough for the cfl..., so in other words, not very good.

The Cowboys could probably have a +.500 season in that league

To make it interesting.., there should be none of this contact with the ground crap.  If you cant hold onto the ball when you hit the ground, yiu don't deserve the ball.  Lots more turnovers..., lots more excitement

Thru 1.5 games:

Entertaining, definitely highly skilled players.

Of course, they haven't played together before and we're seeing almost all zone defense (as soon as the ball is snapped, the CB's butts are pointed toward the sidelines) and 4-3 D's (4-down linemen): few 3-4 setups where one of the 4 linebackers doesn't doesn't reveal he'll effectively be the 4th down lineman/pass rusher until the ball is snapped. I guess they haven't practiced enough to get tricky with the D.

The wide receivers seem to be finding a lot of holes with fly and post/corner-patterns (deep routes), where the CB's and safeties seem a little confused about deep coverage - I'm surprised there's not a lot more Tampa-2 type packages - which are run usually run out of 4-3 D's where the middle linebacker drops back with the safeties on pass plays - the defensive backs need help back there and that clogs the middle of the field and lets the CB's stick with receivers going deep.

The D's are doing well against short passes: quick out and slant patterns aren't working well, but usually running plays work when that's the case and that hasn't been happening (of course, Houston just had two quick-out short completions as I type as LA put a 5th man on the D-line). You'd think the O-lines would be a little ahead of the D-lines right now but that's not clear.

I did not have time today.  Will try again tomorrow

Dallas plays tomorrow.  For first games for all teams I thought the play was pretty good.  College level. There were a few times when everyone wasn’t on the same page but not as many as I expected.  I was real impressed with Houston.
