Ralphie Posted February 8, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 8, 2020 My Mozilla browser on Ubuntu has a scroll bar that is so narrow it can be hard to grab. It also sort of autohides, or at least "autograys", so that too seems unnecessary and annoying, because you have to guess where the hell it is. It' snot that bad, I can just use the arrow and home keys instead (except when composing a post, then it moves within the edit window), but it is still annoying, mainly because there seems to be no good reason for it. It seems to me that the original Windows or should I say WIMP model was very good but there has been a gradual decaying of it, and as a bona fide olde grouche, I say "stop it!".

jdc2000 Posted February 8, 2020 Share #6 Posted February 8, 2020 It sounds like the copied the "User interface" from the Windows 10 "Start" menu. It does the same thing. It has lots of bling-bling and eye-cansy but is very difficult to actually use.
