Made a grocery run

Not too interested in cooking..but got some fruit an yogurt and some veggies, Chocolate chips were on sale so I may get a double batch out for Mrs @Longjohn..at least I have chips & butter ready.

We are on the edge of a storm moving thru..could be 4 to 6 inches coming the first half of tomorrow.

It's good to stock up.  I bought 6 on-sale chicken thighs Thursday, forgetting I still have the 3 lb, tiny marinated whole chicken in a bag.  I baked the thighs Saturday and I froze the whole chicken: it was 2 days beyond it's "use of freeze by" date but since that was 2 weeks after I bought it, I'm sure it's still good.  I have plenty of veggies to go with them so I guess I'm eating lots of chicken for a while.
