Longjohn Posted February 16, 2020 Share #2 Posted February 16, 2020 One of the waiting rooms in the treatment area of the hospital in Pittsburgh always had a big puzzle in progress on table there. Every day I could see the progress people were making and when the puzzle was completed it was there for one day and somebody would start a new one. I never saw anyone working on it, in fact I never saw anyone in the waiting room for more than five minutes. In radiation oncology the treatments take minutes not hours, I wonder who was doing the puzzles?
petitepedal Posted February 16, 2020 Author Share #3 Posted February 16, 2020 We have them going at work..only 1 puzzle at a time...but they can finish one in just a day if it is relatively easy..As I walk by...I may put a piece or two in...sometimes I will spend as much as 15 minutes at the table..if it is the end of a quiet day..Anywhere from 1 to 4 or 5 people working on it at a time. I kept telling folks they needed to come by my place...I probably put in 50 piece total on weekdays...otherwise this was a weekend thing..it has been up about a month

My grandmother loved puzzles. She was the central casting sweet old lady. She raised me for a while while my parents were in Germany wit the army, so she was almost my mother!
