In the summer it's perfect and doesn't sleep hot at all. Also it's two sided, we use the soft side. Only complaint is it could be softer for my taste, but it is supposed to be one of the softest memory foams. No, they are not worth it as, while good, diminishing returns for the cost. Son bought a online "mattress in a box" from Amazon and likes it. That is probably the area I will be looking, initially for the guest queen size. The big issue is which box? Name brand like Serta or generic like son got?
