maddmaxx Posted February 20, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 20, 2020 When I attempt to upload an image (not all images) I get an image upload failed message with a triangle containing a -200 in it. Any ideas. Is there a size limit now?

Square Wheels Posted February 22, 2020 Share #4 Posted February 22, 2020 No size limit, well, 64mb, but that's silly. Got a link to the image?

No. I was having trouble with images here and on my google drive so the problem may be at this end in the form of gobbled files.

I had that message come up when I uploaded photos but noticed an option to post different sizes so I started posting medium size images and no more problem. The new eye foan probably does take really large images. I need to explore using it more.
donkpow Posted March 2, 2020 Share #7 Posted March 2, 2020 This is not that but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I generally resize linked images. The control panel for that forgets to preserve the aspect ratio by default. I deal with it but you'd expect to see the "preserve aspect ratio" check box to be enabled by default. Square Wheels Posted March 2, 2020 Share #8 Posted March 2, 2020 I agree, I asked the vendor to consider this.

Bikeguy Posted March 12, 2020 Share #11 Posted March 12, 2020 I get the -200 error and can't post an image. It's only 1MB. Where are the resizing settings that are mentioned. I don't find any...

They come in after you complete an upload. Just double click the image after it is in the text field.
Square Wheels Posted March 12, 2020 Share #13 Posted March 12, 2020 The site captures errors, there are a lot of file upload errors. I submitted a support ticket to investigate what I've done wrong.

Square Wheels Posted March 12, 2020 Share #15 Posted March 12, 2020 If you have access to an image that failed before, please try again. It may have been a folder permission issue. I think I fixed it.
Bikeguy Posted March 13, 2020 Share #16 Posted March 13, 2020 Still error -200 I normally use Chrome, so I just tried IE 11, and Edge all 3 ended with the same error.
Square Wheels Posted March 13, 2020 Share #17 Posted March 13, 2020 Can you please try again? Also, how big is the file you are trying to upload?
Bikeguy Posted March 13, 2020 Share #18 Posted March 13, 2020 The file is only 1GB. I'll try again. It worked. Thanks...
