She had to travel to their manufacturing sites around the world. interesting Barbie fact - the faces are still hand-painted. The most important job on face painting? The sparkle in her eye! It takes 7 years of experience before you are allowed to attempt the sparkle. They are painted in Taiwan as it costs less. However they are paid well by Taiwan standards.
