Zephyr Posted February 22, 2020 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2020 When Hasbro came out with them, they tried to patent the doll as they were first to market for a male 'action figure' but were turned down with the reason that you cannot patent the human body. So they made the mold with one thumbnail on the inside of the thumb so they would know if someone used their doll to make a mold for a knock off.
