Ltdskilz Posted February 26, 2020 Share #51 Posted February 26, 2020 Michael Dell: Never Be The Smartest Person In The Room Try never to be the smartest person in the room. And if you are, I suggest you invite smarter people … or find a different room. In professional circles it’s called networking. In organizations it’s called team building. And in life it’s called family, friends, and community. We are all gifts to each other, and my own growth as a leader has shown me again and again that the most rewarding experiences come from my relationships. ~University of Texas, 2003

shootingstar Posted February 27, 2020 Share #53 Posted February 27, 2020 Smartest in the room. I was never athletic. Becoming a cyclist for commuting, touring...has probably surprised a lot of people who knew me well, for past few decades and as a child/teen. Becoming smart..doesn't mean being lippy or showing off your intelligence. Being smart gives you more options to figure out your path in life at each stage of your life as an adult. It is useful as a child to be the best athlete...to outwit the bullies.
