Just wanted to say...I saw the movie, Hidden Figures 4 times.  Yes, of course, it was a feel good movie. Still, I enjoyed it from several different angles, the Afro-American women trailblazers at NASA, NASA program at that time, a love story, etc.

My niece (the woman in her blue bridal gown) I posted her photo yesterday, tweeted out today's news..like many others. She graduated from university in a engineering program and did practice as a geological engineer for a few years.  She does often root for women in engineering/STEM ...even though she left the profession.  She was working in remote areas of the world. Yes, even in past few years, she was working in an industry where there are still alot of male engineers.

Am glad Johnson got recognition along the way.

I've seen it one time completely, but many times partially.  It's a good story, and a nice peak into a time of tremendous change in the US.

She had a full life, and will be well regarded in history.
